What You’ll Be Doing
- Commercial Referral Partners (The "Program Play")
- Hunt & Acquire: Identify and sign high-value referral partners (FX brokers, Corporate Service Providers, Accounting and Tax Advisories, VCs, Accelerators) that cater to businesses trading in Verto’s key markets.
- Activate & Monetise: Turn signed agreements into active partners that fit into Verto’s Ideal Partner Profile (IPP) and that have extensive networks of Verto’s target customers. Work directly with these partners to generate regular and successful referrals of customers that fit Verto’s ICP.
- Partner Enablement & Management: Provide partners with the right assets, training, incentives and tools to build successful referral relationships and ensure a best-in-class partner experience.
- Product Referral Partners (The "Alliance Play")
- Hunt & Acquire: Scout, engage and acquire third-party platforms (Accounting & Bookkeeping Platforms, Orchestration Platforms & Networks, ERPs, Procurement Software) where they can refer customers and volume to Verto via their platform.
- Activate & Launch: Work closely with the respective Product and Engineering teams to scope, build, and launch key integrations.
- Adoption & Scale: Successfully launch the integrations with product partners and drive adoption among their user base.
- Partner Enablement & Management: Provide partners with the right technical and commercial support to ensure successful integrations and partnerships.
What You Need
- Experience: 5+ years in partnerships, business development, or B2B sales within Fintech, SaaS, or Cross-border Payments & FX.
- Commercial Acumen: You are comfortable negotiating and closing commercial agreements, with revenue share terms and custom pricing.
- Technical Acumen: You can lead required integration work, partnering with Product and Engineering teams, to launch and successfully scale product partnerships.
- Hunter Mentality: You actively seek out, manage and close deals and new opportunities. You have experience building and executing on a successful pipeline of commercial and product referral partners.
- Operational Clarity: You can effectively handle complexity and chaos across multiple potential partners and organise them into a clear, prioritised, and strong pipeline - with the help of CRM tools (i.e. HubSpot, Salesforce).
