Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer required to join a leading compressed air manufacturer. The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance on compressed air equipment at customer sites across the Midlands. Earn a strong OTE with bonus, commission, regular overtime, and enhanced on-call rates.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer must have a field servicing background in compressors, compressed air, vacuum pumps, nitrogen generators, air filtration, or similar compressed air systems. Full product training provided.
- Package: £35,000 - £40,000 plus High OTE
- Regular bonuses and commission

Role:
- To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance of compressed air equipment at customer sites.
- Undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of compressed air systems, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators and other compressed air products.
- Maintain, repair and install air compressors, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators and other compressed air and pneumatic equipment across the Midlands and South Wales.
- Install compressed air/water & nitrogen pipelines into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
- Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various compressed air equipment.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
Requirements:
- Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical/mechanical compressed air systems.
- Experience as a compressor engineer is essential.
- The ability to maintain good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
- Good working knowledge of three-phase electrics and controls is advantageous.
- Field servicing background in compressors, compressed air, vacuum pumps, nitrogen generators, air filtration or similar compressed air equipment.
- A technical engineering qualification, apprentice trained, FGas, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
- Willingness to be part of the on-call rota 1 in 5.
- Homebased, willing to travel across the Midlands.
