Electrician/ Electrical Technician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading Renewables business covering Yorkshire and surrounding areas. The Electrician/ Electrical Technician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the electrical installation, servicing, and repair of renewables products including Solar, PV, Battery, heat pumps and MVHRs and other associated products.

The Electrician/ Electrical Technician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer will ideally have experience with electrical installation and maintenance of Solar, PV, Battery, heat pumps and MVHRs and related components.

Package: £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience. Company vehicle, overtime, pension scheme, and additional benefits.

Role:
  • Responsible for the electrical installation, servicing, and repair of renewables including Solar, PV, Battery, heat pumps and MVHRs.
  • Install electrical panels and pumps at mainly residential and some commercial properties including wiring, connecting, testing, and calibrating systems.
  • Collaborate on mechanical aspects of installations such as pipework assembly, kit loading/unloading, and on-site support.
  • Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently to minimise downtime, including working with three-phase motors and variable speed drives.
  • Maintain accurate logs of work completed, installations, repairs, and servicing.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure installations and repairs meet operational and safety expectations.
Requirements:
  • Will ideally have experience with electrical installation and maintenance of Solar, PV, Battery, heat pumps and MVHRs or any related electrical installation work.
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Technician, Service Engineer, Pump Engineer, Electrical Pump Engineer, Maintenance Electrician, Field Service Engineer, or Installation Electrician.
  • Hold a valid JIB Gold card, or ECS Gold Card, or an alternative is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with renewables.
  • Experience with three-phase electrics is an advantage.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
  • 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification or equivalent is a benefit, but not essential.
  • Knowledge of 18th Edition wiring regulations and Health & Safety standards is required.
  • Full UK driving licence.
