Valve Engineer / Service Technician / Valve Technician required to join a leading provider of valve products within the oil & gas industry. The Successful Valve Engineer / Service Technician / Valve Technician will provide mechanical engineering service and repair of valves in the workshop in Aberdeen and occasionally offshore.
The Valve Engineer / Service Technician / Valve Technician will have experience of servicing valve products and have a willingness to do ad hoc offshore work.

Will provide mechanical engineering service and repair of valves in the workshop in Aberdeen and occasionally offshore. The valve technician will provide service on actuators and other ancillary equipment. To assist in the training and onboarding of new / less experienced personnel, both onshore and offshore. Submit accurate visit and time sheets duly signed by the customer upon completion of the work, including the detail of any damaged equipment. Liaise with various engineering departments.
Requirements- Proven experience of servicing valve products and a willingness to do ad hoc offshore work.
- Experience as a valve engineer / valve technician / service engineer / service technician / mechanical engineer or similar.
- Offshore experience is desirable though not a necessity.
- A technical mechanical qualification, apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
- Willingness to work mainly in the workshop in Aberdeen and offshore when required.
