Project Engineer / R&D Engineer / Mechanical Development Engineer required to join a technical consultancy and engineering services provider supporting complex projects in the space, vacuum, and advanced mechanical systems sector based in Warrington.
The successful Project Engineer will support end-to-end delivery of technical and R&D programmes, including design, analysis, testing, and reporting. You’ll manage your own tasks or project work packages, working hands-on with mechanical assemblies, test rigs, and cleanroom systems.
You’ll have experience in mechanical design, CAD modelling, and project coordination within a high-spec engineering environment, ideally linked to aerospace, precision mechanisms, or vacuum systems.

- Deliver full project engineering scope across design, development, and testing

Requirements
