Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager required to join a global, leading engineering manufacturer and solutions provider. The successful candidate will join a newly forming sales team, covering the North, offering strong progression into managing a regional sales team. This remote role focuses on business development and key account management for HVAC ventilation products including fans, heat recovery systems, extractor fans, dampers, diffusers, and associated equipment.
The ideal candidate will come from a ventilation or HVAC background, with people management experience and experience selling into the domestic, social housing and commercial sectors.
Package:
- £50,000 - £60,000 basic salary
- Uncapped bonus / commission scheme
- Company Car
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
Role:
- Drive business development and manage key accounts for HVAC ventilation products.
- Sell solutions including fans, heat recovery units, extractor fans, dampers, diffusers, and associated solutions.
- Maintain and grow HVAC ventilation sales through meetings, demonstrations, and exhibitions.
- Develop new ventilation opportunities across domestic, social housing and commercial sectors.
- Work with the Sales Director to implement sales strategies.
- Build relationships with wholesalers, contractors, architects, and consultants.
Requirements:
- Experience as an Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Account Manager or similar within HVAC or ventilation.
- Experience selling ventilation or air movement products such as fans or heat recovery systems.
- Proven experience managing key accounts and developing new business.
- Industry contacts with wholesalers, contractors, or consultants desirable.
- Technical qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC, HND or Degree) advantageous.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
