The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engineerwill provide mechanical repair, service and maintenance of industrial and commercial water treatment equipment primarily on water and wastewater sites in Cumbria. Full product training provided.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engineerwill ideally have a mechanical service background, working on water / waste water sites in mechanical engineering products such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, valves, pipework, filtration, plant machinery and or similar mechanical engineering equipment.

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer Role
- Provide mechanical repair, service and maintenance of industrial and commercial water treatment equipment primarily on water and wastewater sites in Cumbria. Full product training provided.
- The Mechanical Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance at customer sites across Cumbria and surrounding areas. Full product training provided.
- Installing pump systems, pipework, water tanks, water treatment and more into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
- Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various water treatment plants / sites.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer Requirements
- Mechanical service background in mechanical engineering products such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, valves, pipework, filtration, plant machinery and or similar mechanical engineering equipment.
- Experience working on industrial and commercial water treatment equipment primarily on water and wastewater sites in Cumbria. Full product training provided.
- Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Hydraulic Engineer, Mobile Engineer, Mechanical Fitter, Workshop Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Installation Engineer, Pump Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or similar.
- The ability in maintaining good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
- A technical engineering degree / qualification or apprentice trained, would be advantageous.
- Willingness to cover Cumbria and surrounding areas.
