Overview
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Pump Engineer required to join a leading pump manufacturer.
Responsibilities
- Provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and commissioning of industrial pumps and ancillary equipment at customer sites within the South of the UK.
- Undertake planned and preventative maintenance, and provide advice, diagnostics, and fault finding of industrial pump systems into various industries.
- Work with Dry-Installed pumps, Submersibles, Barrel and Tubular casting pumps, and more.
- Install pump products into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
- Work remotely, covering the South, including Swindon, Reading, Guildford, Crawley, Basingstoke, London, and Maidstone.
Requirements
- Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Installation Engineer, Filtration Engineer, Pump Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, M&E Engineer, Electro-Mechanical Engineer, or similar within pumps.
- Experience in the repair of pumps, or associated products.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, and operation manuals.
- A mechanical engineering qualification, degree, apprentice trained, or similar would be advantageous.
- Full UK driving license
- Willingness to work remotely, covering the South, including Swindon, Reading, Guildford, Crawley, Basingstoke, London, and Maidstone
