Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer required to join a leading engineering supplier of electromechanical products and services. The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, maintenance and pipework installation on compressed air equipment at customer sites UK wide.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer will ideally have a service background in engineering with demonstrable fault finding skills in electrical and/or mechanical engineering, such as compressors, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, nitrogen generators, pipework installations, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, valves, pumps, motors, steam turbines, rotating equipment, or similar products. Full product training provided.

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer Role
- To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance and pipework installations of compressed air equipment at customer sites UK wide.
- The Compressor Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of compressed air systems, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators, compressed air filtration and other compressed air products.
- Maintain, repair and install air compressed air and pneumatic equipment.
- Installing compressed air/water & nitrogen pipelines into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
- Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various compressed air equipment.
- Regular commute to the office in Coventry for parts collection.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer Requirements
- Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical and / or mechanical engineering systems.
- Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Installation Engineer, Compressor Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electromechanical Engineer or similar.
- The ability in maintaining good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
- Field Service background in engineering with demonstrable fault finding skills in electrical and/or mechanical engineering, such as compressors, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, nitrogen generators, pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, valves, pumps, motors, rotating equipment, or similar products. Full product training provided.
- Good working knowledge of three phase electrics and controls is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel the Midlands and the surrounding areas is required.
- Commutable to Coventry for part collections regularly.
