We're looking for a Senior Manager / Data Centre Development Manager to lead the delivery of a major US expansion programme for a Data Centre Operator & Developer. This is a founding role for the US region - offering the opportunity to build market presence, establish delivery capability and take ownership of complex data centre development activity from the ground up.

The role of a Senior Manager of Data Centre Development:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of a US Data Centre development
- Manage relationships with general contractors, EPC partners and other key delivery stakeholders
- Build and develop relationships with utilities, authorities and other regional stakeholders
- Support planning, permitting and entitlement activities across the US market
- Recruit and help establish the project delivery team as regional requirements develop
- Coordinate with wider portfolio teams to identify resource requirements and delivery priorities
- Provide hands-on leadership across technical, commercial and delivery activities
The requirements to be a Senior Manager of Data Centre Development:
- Experience delivering data centre, energy or large-scale infrastructure projects in the US
- Strong knowledge of the US data centre market and development environment
- Experience managing contractor, EPC, utility or infrastructure stakeholder relationships
- Working knowledge of US utility processes, ISO/RTO environments and state entitlement requirements
- Comfortable operating as the first senior representative for a business entering a new region
- Strong commercial and delivery capability with experience managing complex infrastructure programmes
