Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager required to join a global leading electrical engineering manufacturer. The successful candidate is responsible for driving sales, specifying, and managing energy efficiency systems and solutions across the UK & Ireland via end users while supporting key accounts and delivering technical energy efficiency expertise. Full product training provided.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in specifying and selling energy efficiency solutions, including power quality, monitoring, and metering equipment, with the ability to support projects from specification to delivery, a strong knowledge of the UK market, and an electrical engineering degree preferred. Service Engineers with experience in servicing energy software or power quality / metering products looking to move into sales are encouraged to apply.

  • Circa £50k

Role:

  • Selling power quality equipment products and solutions via end user channels
  • Achieve specification of energy efficiency systems with consultants and end-users
  • Responsible for promoting various power monitoring products including Circuit systems, power metering, power instrumentation, electrical sensors and energy software
  • Manage the systems integrator program for energy efficiency systems
  • Tender for energy efficiency projects based on schematics, specifications, or site visits
  • Liaise with various engineering departments

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in energy efficiency systems, including specification and sales
  • Technical sales experience with power quality, power monitoring and/or power metering equipment
  • Strong knowledge of energy efficiency solutions and experience in the UK market
  • Ability to support power quality and energy projects from specification to delivery
  • Electrical engineering degree is advantageous
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK & Ireland
