Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Key Account Manager required to join a leading global engineering manufacturer. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key accounts across various industries, selling engineered mechanical and industrial solutions via end-user channels. You will focus on selling cutting-edge products such as pneumatic systems, actuators, valves, cylinders, automation, and motion control systems throughout North West UK. Full product training will be provided.
The role involves:
- Sell engineered mechanical products and solutions into end-user channels, including pneumatic components, actuators, and automation systems.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts within end-user channels across various industrial sectors, predominantly the food and beverage industry.
- Identify and develop new solution sales opportunities within the market by engaging with potential clients through demonstrations, exhibitions, and negotiations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful application and delivery of engineered solutions.
- Provide expert knowledge on solutions to clients on the technical aspects of pneumatic systems and automation solutions.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Sales Engineer, Key Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, or Technical Sales Engineer selling technical products or solutions.
- Proactive attitude and sales acumen with experience managing and growing key accounts for their technical solutions.
- Strong technical sales or solution sales background within engineering, and most importantly, the desire and hunger to grow and progress within a leading global manufacturer.
- A technical qualification (e.g., Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, or Degree) is desirable.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Willingness to work fully remote with travel throughout the North West UK (4 days on the road, 1 day WFH).
Package: £45,000 - £52,000 base salary (depending on experience), bonus scheme, company car, pension contribution, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, private healthcare and additional benefits.
