The Internal Sales Executive / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Support Engineer will be responsible for managing customer inquiries, generating quotations, providing technical assistance, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely product delivery and customer satisfaction.
The Internal Sales Executive / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Support Engineer will ideally have proven experience in sales within the pump, fluid control, or industrial engineering sector, with a strong background in centrifugal, gear, rotary vane, and positive displacement pumps, or fluid handling systems.

Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound inquiries, providing solutions and support for customers in the industrial pump and fluid control sectors.
- Provide detailed quotations for a variety of industrial pumps, including centrifugal, gear, rotary vane, and positive displacement pumps, as well as fluid handling systems and process control solutions.
- Work with customers to recommend the most suitable products for their needs, ensuring all product specifications are met.
- Build long-term relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Work closely with engineering, supply chain, and logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
- Occasional travel to customer sites as and when required to manage key accounts and develop new business.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, ideally within the pump, fluid control, or industrial engineering sector.
- A strong background in pumps, including centrifugal, gear, rotary vane, and positive displacement pumps, or fluid handling systems is essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate technical information to customers and internal teams.
- Ability to generate quotations and manage orders and customer accounts efficiently.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM Systems.
- Must be based within a reasonable commuting distance to the Oldham area.
