Job Description
Quantity Surveyor / Cost Engineer / Commercial Manager to join a leading provider in mechanical engineered solutions and projects across the UK.\\n\\n The successful Quantity Surveyor / Cost Engineer / Commercial Manager will work alongside the project management team and be responsible for commercial control to ensure pump related projects are delivered within budget, on time and to the right quality.\\n\\n The Quantity Surveyor / Cost Engineer / Commercial Manager will ideally have experience of quantity surveying experience within an industrial engineering / manufacturing environment, supporting projects on a commercial / financial basis. Previous experience within M&E Contractors is highly desirable.\\n\\n Package\\n\\n£50,000 – £60,000\\nCompany car or car allowance\\nBonus\\nPrivate medical care\\n25 days holiday + bank holidays\\nCompany pension scheme\\nPhone, laptop \\n Quantity Surveyor / Cost Engineer / Commercial Manager Responsibilities\\n\\nWork alongside the project management team and be responsible for commercial control to ensure pump related projects are delivered within budget, on time and to the right quality.\\nCollaborate closely with M&E contractors\\nManage costing, planning, estimating and tendering processes of pump and pipework projects, working with subcontractors for big orders.\\nSupervise project / commercial reviews for all pumping solutions, and pipework projects.\\nEnsure all project-related paperwork is completed to a high standard and compliant with internal processes.\\nLiaise with various engineering departments \\n Quantity Surveyor / Cost Engineer / Commercial Manager Requirements\\n\\nExperience as a quantity surveyor, cost engineer, procurement surveyor, commercial manager, cost estimator, estimation manager, or similar.\\nA background in pumps, industrial engineering, pipework, construction, plant engineering, manufacturing, or similar.\\nBackground in temporary works, pumping applications, utilities, M&E, or related sectors.\\nAn quantity surveying or commercial management qualification such as Degree, HNC, HND, Diploma or similar.\\nRecognised working knowledge of NEC 3&4, JCT and subcontract contracts.\\nThe successful Quantity Surveyor will be located within commutable distance to Chandlers Ford\\nFull UK driving licence with flexibility to travel as needed
