Quality Technician / Quality Inspector / Quality Control Inspector required to join a manufacturer based Newton Abbot, Devon.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Quality Technician to join their fabrication workshop in Newton Abbot, Devon. Youll play a vital part in maintaining exceptional quality standards across a range of steel fabrication projects, contributing to the success of a business renowned for precision and excellence.
We\βre looking for a background in quality control and inspection and must be commutable to Newton Abbot, Devon.
Package:
- Β£35,000 β Circa Β£40,000+ depending on experience
- 28 days of holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)
- Nest Pension Scheme

The Quality Technician role:
- Inspect fabrication work including steel, ensure compliance and sign off to specification.
- Inspect materials (both goods in and out) for quality and keep detailed records of this.
- Responsible for inspections, measurements and checks against engineering drawings.
- Have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings to verify measurements.
- Liaise with various engineering departments
- Onsite in Newton Abbot, Devon
The ideal Quality Technician Candidate:
- Proven experience as a Quality Technician / Quality Inspector / Quality Control Inspector / Quality Assurance Technician or similar quality background
- Experience in steelwork, fabrication or metalworking would be beneficial
- Must be able to commute to Newton Abbot, Devon
