A leading HVAC manufacturer is seeking a Product Design Engineer / Design Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for compiling the design and continuous improvement of products in line with specifications, taking projects from sales stage to handover, of mechanical systems such as air heaters, heat convectors, fan coils, and fan convectors.
The role will be office-based, with some remote working, near Nuneaton.
Package:
- £45,000-£55,000

Role Responsibilities:
- Responsible for compiling the design and continuous improvement of products in line with specifications of mechanical systems.
- Take responsibility for cost reduction and manufacturing efficiency on active projects.
- Ensure designs are in line with regulatory requirements and bespoke client expectations.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
- Discuss feasibility of projects and present concept ideas.
- Able to commute to the office near Nuneaton.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Product Design Engineer / Design Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer or other relevant titles, ideally with knowledge of the HVAC industry.
- HND or higher education qualification in Product Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of materials, mechanical assembly, and manufacturing processes.
- Background in sheet metal design, ideally in the HVAC industry.
- Fluency in the use of 3D CAD software, Solid Edge preferred.
- Valid UK Driving Licence.
- Able to commute to the office near Nuneaton.
