Procurement Officer / Buyer required for a Manufacture of engineering products based in Bradford. The successful Procurement Officer / Buyer will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating pricing and ensuring compliance with company policies. The successful Procurement Officer / Buyer will report into the Senior Purchasing & Procurement Manager, it is office based, the successful Procurement Officer needs to live within commutable distance of Bradford. Package: Salary: Dependent on Experience Bonus 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holiday & Christmas Shutdown Responsibilities: Generate purchase orders, confirming delivery dates and cost Assist in negotiating purchasing and payment terms with suppliers Ensure products meet quality standards Source and purchase goods in line with company requirements Collaborate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs Monitor and audit supplier performance Source and onboard new suppliers Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies Requirements: Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or Buyer Knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain principles Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills Proven experience delivering service improvements and cost-savings SAP knowledge would be advantageous Commutable to Bradford Full UK driving licence
