Pipefitter / Pipework Engineer / Installation Engineer required to join a leading mechanical engineering supplier. The successful candidate will be field-based, responsible for installing pump-related products and pipework at customer sites across the UK, with occasional trips to the workshop in Chandlers Ford.

The role involves:

  • Installing pipework in manufacturing factories, construction sites, wastewater, and clean water sites.
  • Travelling to customer sites across the UK with occasional trips to the workshop in Chandlers Ford.
  • Installing various pipework using materials such as aluminium, copper, stainless steel, threaded steel, and galvanized steel.
  • Assisting drivers with loading/unloading vehicles, checking against paperwork, identifying missing items, damages, and fuel charges.
  • Liaising with various engineering departments to ensure smooth operations and project execution.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an Installation Engineer, Service Engineer, Field Service Technician, Pipework Engineer, Pipefitter, or similar within the mechanical engineering environment.
  • Pipework installation experience on mechanical engineering-related products, for example pumps, valves, or similar.
  • Engineering qualifications, CSCS card, IPAF, PASMA, and confined space training are advantageous.
  • Safety critical medical required.
  • Ability to travel across the UK and work away from home, with occasional weekend on-call availability (1 in 3 weekends).
  • Full UK driving license.

Package: £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience, enhanced overtime pay, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, company van, and additional benefits.
