Operations & Executive Assistant\\n\\nPortsmouth\\n\\n£25,000 – £30,000 depending on experience\\n\\nIncludes two international incentive trips per year\\n\\nVerto People are one of the fastest growing recruitment agencies on the South Coast and as we prepare for opening at least two US offices in 2026, we are looking to bring in someone to grow our operations team. Taking a key role in planning events in the UK and USA, owning different software packages for our sales team, providing executive assistance to the Directors, and make sure our culture and processes thrive every single day.\\n\\nThis is a hands on, high-impact role that blends event management, operations, and executive support. You’ll work directly with the leadership team and play a key role in how Verto People grows and operates.\\n\\nIf you’re organised, proactive, and love creating structure and energy in equal measure you’ll fit right in.\\n\\nWhat You’ll Do in the Operations & Executive Assistant role:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Plan and deliver company events in the UK and USA, two international trips a year and our legendary monthly sales days and other ad-hoc events.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Manage diaries and logistics for the Directors.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Take ownership of internal communications.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Oversee commercial agreements, finding smarter, more cost-effective suppliers.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Lead new starter inductions and onboarding.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Champion company culture, taking ownership for anniversaries, birthdays, and celebrations.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Keep the team aligned with internal processes and systems.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Act as first point of contact for service partners.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Support internal recruitment, running LinkedIn searches and initial calls for future hires.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Source local suppliers for new office openings in Texas and Florida\\n\\nWhat You’ll Bring\\n\\n * \\n\\n Proven experience in events, operations, or office management.\\n\\n * \\n\\n (Bonus) Experience within recruitment or a fast-paced, growing business.\\n\\n * \\n\\n The most important thing for us is a genuine ‘can-do’ attitude, being confident taking the lead and finding solutions.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Excellent organisation and communication skills.\\n\\n * \\n\\n A proactive mindset and passion for making things happen.\\n\\nWhy Verto People?\\n\\nAt Verto, we don’t just say we’ve got a great culture — we live it.
