The Successful Mechanical Engineer / Service Technician / Workshop Engineer will provide mechanical repair, service, validation, and testing of industrial centrifugal blowers and vacuum pumps at the workshop near Crewe. Full product training provided.
The Mechanical Engineer / Service Technician / Workshop Engineer will ideally have an engineering background on mechanical systems.
Package- £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience

To provide mechanical repair, service and maintenance of centrifugal blowers, vacuum pumps, and associated rotating equipment. The Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, commissioning, diagnostics, and fault finding of various centrifugal blower and vacuum pump systems. Maintain, repair, install, validate, and test equipment such as vacuum pumps and centrifugal blowers. Identify and provide customers with system improvements, upgrades, or general aftercare solutions for vacuum and blower technologies. Workshop based near Crewe. Liaise with various engineering departments.
Requirements- Proven service skills on mechanical engineering systems.
- Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Workshop Engineer or similar, ideally within mechanical equipment.
- Mechanical bias.
- Mechanical engineering qualification such as Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, or equivalent would be advantageous.
- Commutable to the workshop near Crewe.
