Service Engineer / Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer required to join a global, market-leading engineering manufacturer. The successful Service Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / Technician will be predominantly site-based near Aylesbury, with occasional travel to customer sites when required responsible for servicing, repair, fault finding, and maintenance of specialist pumping, metering, and pipework systems used within the farming and dairy sector. Full product trainin provided. The Service Engineer / Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer will ideally come from any mechanical or electro-mechanical background. Experience with pumps, plant, HGVs, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC, refrigeration, or similar equipment is useful but not essential – strong mechanical skills and a willingness to learn are what matter most. Package £35,000 – £45,000 depending on experience Company van Company fuel card, phone, and laptop 25 days holiday + bank holidays Company pension + share scheme Overtime available Additional benefitsService Engineer / Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer Role Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on milk pumping and fluid transfer systems. Service and maintain metering, pipework, valves, and pump assemblies. Perform planned maintenance, testing, and calibration to hygiene and operational standards. Replace or rebuild pump components such as seals, impellers, and drives. Keep accurate service records and parts inventory. Install and commission new vehicle-based pumping systems. Site based near Aylesbury with occasional travel across the South UK to customer sites.Service Engineer / Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer Requirements Hands-on experience working with mechanical systems (any industry background considered – e.g. automotive, plant, HGVs, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC, refrigeration, rotating equipment, or other electro-mechanical machinery). Comfortable with maintenance, repair, and fault finding on mechanical and/or electrical equipment. Willingness to learn and develop new skills – full product training provided. A recognised engineering qualification, apprenticeship, or relevant mechanical experience is advantageous. Flexible, practical, and hands-on approach to mechanical engineering. Based within commutable distance to Aylesbury, with willingness to travel to customer sites in the South UK when required
