Field-Based | South of England | Long Term Project £320- £420 per day
We’re looking for experienced Cat 4 Qualified LV Electrical Operatives to support a major UK Distribution Network Operator (DNO) LV monitoring rollout. This role involves installing Low Voltage monitoring devices within substations and LV pillars as part of a nationally significant smart network programme. Initial deployment will focus on the South of England, with further expansion planned.
What you’ll be doing:
- Installing LV monitoring equipment on live distribution networks
- Working safely in LV pillars and substations
- Following DNO safety rules, permits, and method statements
- Completing installation and QA documentation
- Attending vendor and network training as required
Authorisations:
- SSE Cat 4E (training supported for suitable candidates)
- Existing DNO authorisations highly advantageous
What we’re looking for:
- Cat 4 Qualification
- Proven LV electrical experience
- Background working with DNOs / utility networks
- Strong safety mindset and documentation standards
- Full UK driving licence
