A Graduate Test Engineer is required for a manufacturer in Liverpool. The Graduate Test Engineer will be responsible for assisting senior engineers in the planning, execution, data capture and analysis of test programmes for electrical products.

The successful candidate will hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a closely related discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in setting up, executing and documenting test procedures for electrical filters and capacitor products, including functional, environmental, reliability and qualification tests.
  • Work with senior engineers to plan test programmes, define measurement points, review test methods and identify failures or deviations.
  • Use test equipment and logging tools to capture data.
  • Analyse test data, identify trends and non‑conformances, present findings to the engineering team.
  • Support calibration, maintenance and verification of test equipment.

Requirements

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable preparing reports and communicating test results.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and disciplined approach to documentation and procedures.
  • Live in or within a commutable distance to Liverpool.
