Internal Sales Engineer / Sales Coordinator / Internal Sales Executive required for a leading global engineering manufacturer.
The successful Internal Sales Engineer / Sales Coordinator / Internal Sales Executive will be responsible for managing internal sales processes from quotations and cost estimation to order conversion, while coordinating with suppliers and providing technical support to customers to drive sales performance.
The successful Internal Sales Engineer / Sales Coordinator / Internal Sales Executive must have a technical understanding of valves and engineering equipment, with exceptional customer service and responsiveness. Must also be easily commutable to Tewkesbury.

Role
- Handle internal sales activities including quotations, cost estimation, and order processing.
- Coordinate with suppliers and the parent company to gather accurate cost and product details.
- Responding to inbound customer queries, providing technical advice, and solutions.
- Manage your sales pipeline, proactively following up to convert quotes into orders and achieve sales targets.
- Support the external sales team and assist with processing and qualifying purchase orders.
Responsibilities
- Previous experience as an Internal Sales Engineer, Sales Coordinator, Internal Sales Executive, Technical Sales Engineer, Applications Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, or similar.
- Experience in selling valves or other mechanical components.
- Engineering qualification, HND or HNC degree is desirable, but not essential.
- Knowledge of steam systems and related products is an advantage, but not essential.
- Skilled in ERP / CRM and proficient in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel.
- Solid communicator with a proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven approach, and excellent multitasking and organisational skills.
- Must be easily commutable to Tewkesbury.
