A leading provider of Industrial Pump systems in the UK is seeking a Regional Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager to join their team. This role will be fully remote, primarily covering the Midlands and North of the UK, and will involve selling and servicing pump-related products and systems within the Food & Beverage industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing key accounts and developing new business via distribution channels and OEM customers within the pump systems market.
- Building and developing new business opportunities through sales of pump services and systems tailored to the food and beverage sector.
- Actively selling and promoting pump service offerings, ensuring profitable orders through demonstrations, exhibitions, and negotiations.
- Working closely with the Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
- Liaising with internal teams and engineering departments to develop technical solutions that meet food processing and beverage production requirements.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Key Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Systems Engineer, or similar.
- Technical understanding of industrial pump systems, such as progressive cavity, flow, hydraulic, rotary, piston, screw, gear, and other pump-related systems, with specific focus on food processing and beverage production.
- Experience managing and developing accounts in the Food & Beverage industry or similar sectors.
- Determination, enthusiasm, and a motivated approach to succeed in the pump systems market, especially within food and beverage.
- A technical mechanical engineering qualification or degree would be advantageous.
- Full UK driving license.
- Willingness to travel throughout the Midlands, North East and occasionally UK Wide as required.
