A Welder / TIG Welder is required for a manufacturer based in Wellingborough. The Welder / TIG Welder / Fabricator will be responsible for welding stainless steel components and supporting basic assembly and testing activities. The successful candidate will have strong TIG welding experience and will work the late shift – Monday to Thursday 15:30 till 00:00 and Friday 11:30‑20:00.

Package: £36,500 per annum + 15% Shift allowance

Role:

  • TIG welding of stainless steel components
  • Assembly and welding using jigs, fixtures, and manipulators
  • Carry out basic assembly and testing, including pressure and leak testing
  • Comply with all health and safety procedures

Requirements:

  • Ability to read technical drawings and work instructions
  • TIG welding experience
  • Engineering qualification is beneficial
  • Must be able to commute to Wellingborough
