The successful Fitter / Mechanical Fitter / Workshop Engineer will work on the mechanical fitting, stripping, assembling, and maintenance of industrial pump systems and other rotating equipment in the workshop near Brentford. Full training provided.
The Fitter / Workshop Engineer / Mechanical Fitter will ideally have practical, hands-on, and used to getting stuck into physical mechanical work, someone who enjoys taking things apart, rebuilding equipment, and working with tools day-to-day.

Fitter / Mechanical Fitter / Workshop Engineer Role
β Carry out mechanical fitting, stripping, and assembly of pumps and rotating machinery.
β Strip down equipment, replace worn parts, and rebuild to specification.
β Inspect and test mechanical components, spotting wear or faults.
β Support general workshop repair and maintenance tasks.
β Work closely with other engineers to keep jobs moving.
β Commutable to the workshop in Hanwell, West London daily.
Fitter / Mechanical Fitter / Workshop Engineer Requirements
β Experience in a hands-on role such as Mechanical Fitter, Workshop Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Service Technician, Apprentice Engineer, or similar.
β Comfortable working with tools, doing physical/mechanical work, and βgetting your hands dirty.β
β Strong practical ability β assembling parts, using spanners, working on machinery.
β Interest in mechanical kit, pumps, engines, rotating equipment, or anything you can take apart and rebuild. xiskglj
β Positive, willing to learn, and happy working in a busy workshop environment.
β Must be able to commute to the workshop near Hanwell, West London
