The Electrical Design Engineer / Design Engineer / Electrical Engineer will play a crucial role in developing and delivering electrical designs for power solutions at customer sites, ensuring project requirements are met efficiently and effectively.
The successful Electrical Design Engineer / Design Engineer / Electrical Engineer will ideally experience in a similar role and an electrical qualification.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and produce complete electrical designs for power applications, including control panels, generator controllers, and electrical distribution systems.
- Create and manage electrical schematics, adhering to CDM and BS7671 regulations.
- Utilize CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to generate detailed design drawings and documentation.
- Provide design and engineering support for both low voltage (LV) and high voltage (HV) applications.
- Ensure compliance with national and international standards related to electrical power requirements.
- Prepare design risk assessments, method statements, and necessary documentation.
- Support factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT), along with on-site commissioning.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and provide practical solutions in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role as an Electrical Design Engineer, Project Engineer (with design experience), Design Engineer or Electrical Engineer.
- Strong working knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and other CAD software.
- A qualification in Electrical Engineering (ONC, HNC, HND, or Degree level) or equivalent experience.
- Ability to commute to the site near Portsmouth.
