An Electrician/Electrical Technician/Electrical Maintenance Engineer is required to join a leading Renewables business covering Yorkshire and surrounding areas.
The role involves:
- Electrical installation, servicing, and repair of renewables products including Solar, PV, Battery, heat pumps, and MVHRs.
- Installing electrical panels and pumps at mainly residential and some commercial properties, including wiring, connecting, testing, and calibrating systems.
- Collaborating on mechanical aspects of installations such as pipework assembly, kit loading/unloading, and on-site support.
- Diagnosing and resolving faults efficiently to minimise downtime, including working with three-phase motors and variable speed drives.
- Maintaining accurate logs of work completed, installations, repairs, and servicing.
- Liaising with clients to ensure installations and repairs meet operational and safety expectations.
Requirements:
- Experience with electrical installation and maintenance of Solar, PV, Battery, heat pumps, and MVHRs or any related electrical installation work.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Technician, Service Engineer, Pump Engineer, Electrical Pump Engineer, Maintenance Electrician, Field Service Engineer, or Installation Electrician.
- Hold a valid JIB Gold card, ECS Gold Card, or an alternative is essential.
- Hands-on experience with renewables.
- Experience with three-phase electrics is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
- 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification or equivalent is a benefit, but not essential.
- Knowledge of 18th Edition wiring regulations and Health & Safety standards is required.
- Full UK driving licence.
