Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer required to join a leading manufacturer of industrial weighing and measurement systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key accounts and developing new business opportunities across Scotland promoting a full range of weighing equipment including weighbridges, balances, instrumentation, software, and process weighing systems.
The ideal candidate will have experience selling or managing key accounts for industrial measurement, instrumentation, sensors, calibration equipment, or related technical products into manufacturing and industrial environments. Full product and technical training will be provided.
Package:
- £40,000 depending on experience
- Uncapped commission (OTE £60,000 - £80,000)

Role:
- Manage key accounts and develop new business across manufacturing, logistics, engineering, food & beverage, recycling, chemical processing and related industrial sectors.
- Promote industrial weighing and measurement solutions including weighbridges, balances, instrumentation, software and process weighing systems.
- Execute regional sales strategies to increase market penetration and revenue growth.
- Engage customers at all levels including operational, engineering and procurement teams.
- Grow sales through product demonstrations, site visits, presentations and commercial negotiations.
- Work closely with technical and engineering teams to provide tailored solutions for customers.
- Work remotely covering Scotland.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Key Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager or Technical Sales Engineer within an engineering or technical sales environment.
- Experience managing your own territory and developing long-term customer relationships.
- Ideally experience selling instrumentation, sensors, measurement equipment, calibration systems, weighing equipment or similar technical products.
- Motivated and target-driven individual capable of managing a territory independently.
- Full UK driving license.
- Willingness to travel throughout Scotland although ideally based within the central belt of Scotland.
