A Control Systems Engineer / Systems Control Engineer / Controls Engineer is required to join a manufacturer in Birmingham. The Control Systems Engineer will be an experienced electrical professional with proven hands-on expertise in PLC programming and electrical commissioning / maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support PLC & HMI programming and system testing
- Develop P&IDs in coordination with design and engineering teams
- Oversee and participate in on-site commissioning
- Design control panel layouts and wiring schematics
- Use EPLAN to produce detailed electrical documentation
- Create schematics flow diagrams and I/O lists
- Collaborate with various engineering and project departments
Requirements
- Proven experience in control systems engineering
- Degree HNC or HND in Electrical Engineering
- Proficiency in PLCs, HMIs and VSDs
- Full UK driving licence
- Must be commutable to Birmingham
