Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Key Account Manager required to join a market-leading engineering supplier. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business development and managing key accounts across the UK. You will focus on selling engineered mechanical and industrial solutions, including pneumatics, bearings, and electric motor systems, to a range of industries, including manufacturing plants and foundries.
The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical engineering knowledge and sales experience, particularly in fluid power, pneumatics, electric motors, industrial motors, gearboxes, bearings, pumps, valves, rotating equipment or similar mechanical products. Full product training will be provided.
Salary and Benefits:
- £45,000 - £55,000 base salary (depending on experience)
- Company car or car allowance

- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Role:
- Sell engineered mechanical products and solutions, including pneumatics, bearings, industrial & electrical motors, gearboxes, and associated products to both end-users and OEMs across the UK.
- Develop and manage key accounts within various industrial sectors, with a focus on growth and long-term relationships.
- This is a field-based role covering the whole of the UK with a focus on the Midlands and the North.
- Occasionally working out of the office near Reading.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Sales Engineer, Key Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, or Technical Sales Engineer selling industrial products.
- Proven industrial sales background and understanding of the function of electric motors or related industrial products.
- Strong technical engineering or mechanical background, with a willingness to progress in a growing engineering company.
- Sales experience within fluid power, pneumatics, electric motors, industrial motors, gearboxes, bearings, pumps, valves, rotating equipment or similar mechanical products.
- A technical mechanical engineering qualification (Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, or Degree) is desirable.
- Full clean driving license.
- Willingness to travel UK-wide.
