Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Sales Executive / Business Development Manager required to join a manufacturer of engineering consumables, conveyor components, belting, power transmission and MRO products used within general manufacturing industries.
The Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Sales Executive / Business Development Manager will cover the North of the UK (upwards of Sheffield) including Yorkshire & Lancashire. You\’ll be ideally based around the M62 corridor.
An engineering product sales background is preferred, but full product training is provided. Any knowledge of conveyor components, belting, power transmission, engineering consumables, conveyors, food processing equipment, packaging machinery, materials handling, MRO products, or exposure selling to End Users, distribution and OEMs.
You\’ll be developing a variety of manufacturing markets including paper & printing, automotive, gypsum and pharmaceutical, among others where they\’d use materials handling, conveyor and engineering consumables.

- £45K – £50K depending on experience

Responsibilities
- New business development and account management
- Selling conveyor components, belting, power transmission and MRO products
- Developing End Users, distribution and OEMs in a variety of manufacturing industries including paper & printing, automotive, gypsum and pharmaceutical, among others where they\’d use materials handling, conveyor and engineering consumables.
- Have support from Product Specialists and liaise with various engineering departments
- Handling customer inquiries and preparing quotations, sales and completion contracts
- Working remotely covering the North of the UK (upwards of Sheffield) including Yorkshire & Lancashire. You\’ll be ideally based around the M62 corridor.
Qualifications
- Experience in an engineering sales position, Area Sales Manager, Account Manager, Sales Engineer, Sales Executive, Business Development Executive, Business Development Manager or similar
- An engineering sales background is preferred, but full product training is provided
- Engineering sales background, such as conveyor components, belting, power transmission, engineering consumables, materials handling and MRO products, or exposure selling to End Users, distribution and OEMs
