Job Description

Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Key Account Manager required to join a leading global engineering manufacturer.\\n\\n The successful Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Key Account Manager will be responsible for driving new business development and managing key accounts across various industries, selling engineered mechanical and industrial solutions. You will focus on selling cutting-edge products such as pneumatic systems, actuators, valves, cylinders, automation, and motion control systems.\\n\\n The Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Key Account Manager will ideally have a blend of engineering and sales experience, including Pneumatics, valves, hydraulics, and actuators. A strong technical background is advantageous.

Full product training provided.\\n\\n Package:\\n\\n£40,000 – £45,000 base salary (depending on experience)\\nBonus scheme\\nCompany car\\n% pension contribution\\n25 days holiday plus bank holidays\\nPrivate healthcare and additional benefitsSales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Key Account Manager Role:\\n\\nSell engineered mechanical products and solutions into end-user channels, including pneumatic components, actuators, and automation systems.\\nManage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, including both OEMs and end-users, across various industrial sectors.\\nIdentify and develop new sales opportunities within the market by engaging with potential clients through demonstrations, exhibitions, and negotiations.\\nWork closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful application and delivery of engineered solutions.\\nProvide expert knowledge to clients on the technical aspects of pneumatic systems and automation solutions.\\nManage both new business development and the nurturing of existing customer relationships.\\nRepresent the company in various business development activities, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and values.Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Key Account Manager Requirements:\\n\\nExperience as a Sales Engineer, Key Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, or Technical Sales Engineer selling mechanical or pneumatic solutions.\\nPrevious experience selling engineered products or solutions into end-user environments, such as pneumatics, automation, valves, actuators, hydraulics, and rotating equipment.\\nA blend of engineering and sales experience.\\nEngineering: Apprentice-trained or technical background (e.g., pneumatics, electronics, mechanical).\\nSales: Proactive attitude and sales acumen; must be comfortable making appointments.\\nStrong technical background in mechanical or engineering products with transferable knowledge.\\nA technical qualification (e.g., Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, or Degree) is desirable.\\nFull clean driving licence \\nWillingness to travel throughout the east midlands including Lincolnshire, Leicester, and Nottingham.This is an exciting opportunity for a Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Key Account Manager to join a leading global engineering manufacturer, offering fantastic growth potential and product training.
