Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager required to join a leading manufacturer of automated packaging machinery.

Role:
- Will focus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts for automated packaging machinery solutions across the UK.
- Maintaining mechanical engineering product and system sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
- Responsible for pre-sales technical assistance as well as providing end solution/application support for all customer needs/requirements.
- Provide after-sales support services and provide technical backup as required to customers within a variety of industries such as manufacturing, food & beverage, and more.
- Field-based covering the UK with regular visits to customer sites.
- Required to be at office in Alton when not on the road.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar within an industrial engineering environment.
- Experience selling capital equipment/machinery or systems.
- Candidates with proven experience selling automated packaging machinery are highly encouraged to apply.
- Full clean driving license.
- Willingness to work a Hybrid mix of office based and, on the road, visiting customers.
