Trainee Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer / Sales Executive required to join a leading manufacturer of automated packaging machinery. The successful candidate will focus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts for automated packaging machinery solutions across the UK.

Role:
- Focus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts for automated packaging machinery solutions across the UK.
- Maintain mechanical engineering product and system sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
- Responsible for pre-sales technical assistance as well as providing end solution/application support for all customer needs/requirements.
- Provide after-sales support services and provide technical backup as required to customers within a variety of industries such as manufacturing, food & beverage, and more.
- Field-based covering the UK with regular visits to customer sites. Required to be at the office in Alton when not on the road.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
Requirements:
- Ideally have business to business sales experience in any capacity with a desire to focus on an Area Sales role with an established engineering manufacturer. Full product training provided.
- Internal Sales candidates looking to progress into an Area Sales role are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed, grow, and bring on new business within the engineering/manufacturing marketplace.
- Full clean driving license.
- Willingness to commute to the office in Alton when not out visiting customers.
