Electromechanical Fitter / Electromechanical Engineer / Service Engineer required to join a leading Industrial electromechanical engineering manufacturer in Aberdeen. The Successful candidate will provide service, maintenance, repair and fitting of electromechanical pumps, motors, gearboxes, generators, electric motors and similar at the workshop in Aberdeen, on site, and offshore when required.
The role involves:
- Providing service, maintenance, and repair of electromechanical pumps, motors, gearboxes, generators, electric motors and similar.
- Carrying out electrical fault finding, testing, and wiring of electromechanical products such as pumps, valves, electric motors, and more.
- Ensuring all components are correctly fitted and operational before delivery.
- Identifying machinery damage and conducting basic electrical testing.
- Completing technical documentation as work progresses.
- Performing other duties as assigned and liaising with various engineering departments.
Requirements:
- Experience as an electro-mechanical fitter, service engineer, electrical engineer, offshore engineer, service technician, electromechanical technician or similar.
- Good industrial electromechanical engineering background such as wiring, circuitry, pumps, gearboxes, valves, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, compressors, generators, or similar electromechanical / rotating machinery products or systems.
- Experience and ability to conduct testing and control checks on electromechanical machinery.
- An electrical engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
- Willingness to commute to the workshop in Aberdeen, and work offshore when required.
Package: £40,000 - £42,000. Site & Offshore rates overall earnings £70,000 - £80,000. Pension and additional benefits included.
