The Successful Workshop Engineer / Workshop Fitter / Mechanical Engineer will provide service, maintenance, repair of diesel engines, pumps, related products at the workshop in Staffordshire.
The Workshop Engineer / Workshop Fitter / Mechanical Engineer will have experience fitting / servicing industrial mechanical engineering products / systems such as pumps, engines, motors, gearboxes, valves, compressors, hydraulics, pneumatics, generators, or other similar mechanical engineering products.

Workshop Engineer / Workshop Fitter / Mechanical Engineer role:
-
Will provide service, maintenance, repair of diesel engines, pumps, related products at the workshop in Staffordshire.

Will be responsible for inspection and testing of all rental equipment returned to branch, including fault finding and diagnostic work of pumps, engines, and related ancillary products.

Make sure that all pump and engine products are in line with manufacturing specifications before leaving the workshop for delivery.

Ability to complete technical documentation as work is progresses.

To perform other duties as assigned from time to time and liaise with various engineering departments

Experience as a workshop engineer, workshop fitter pump engineer, pump fitter, fitter, hydraulic fitter, hydraulic engineer, valve technician, installation engineer, pump installation engineer, mechanical fitter, electro-mechanical fitter, mechanical engineer, service engineer, or similar.

Will have a good mechanical engineering background with experience servicing, maintaining and fitting industrial mechanical engineering products such as pumps, engines, motors, gearboxes, valves, compressors, hydraulics, pneumatics, generators, or other similar mechanical engineering products.

Must have an engineering qualification, of NVQ Level or higher.

Candidates with a qualification and or experience within automotive engineering are highly encouraged to apply.

Willingness to commute to the workshop in Staffordshire.
