Overview

Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager required for a global engineering manufacturer. The successful Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager will work fully remotely and be responsible for developing new business opportunities and providing technical tooling solutions across Northern Ireland with a large focus on the Belfast area selling CNC Cutting tools, solid carbide drills, standard carbide drills, head drills, milling cutters, reamers used for CNC machining and metal-cutting.

The Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager must have a technical background in mechanical engineering, precision engineering or CNC machining and ideally have sold CNC cutting tools, machine tools or other related products in precision engineering.

Sales Engineer role

  • Develop new business opportunities and provide technical tooling solutions across Northern Ireland with a large focus on the Belfast area selling CNC cutting tools, solid carbide drills, standard carbide drills, head drills, milling cutters and reamers used for CNC machining.
  • Manage relationships with key clients across Northern Ireland to increase sales.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.
  • Manage an entire sales pipeline from lead generation to the final sale through a CRM system.
  • Remote position covering Northern Ireland

Sales Engineer Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Engineer, Area Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Key Account Manager, Applications Engineer or similar within precision engineering or CNC.
  • Technical background in CNC, CNC machining, cutting tools or machine tools is advantageous.
  • Driving Licence.
  • Willingness to meet clients across Northern Ireland.
