Introduction:
An established and forward-thinking architecture practice in Santa Monica is seeking a talented Technical Designer to join their collaborative team. The practice is recognized for delivering high-quality design and technical precision across large-scale projects.
This opportunity would be ideal for a Technical Designer, Architectural Designer, or Junior Project Architect with proven experience in large-scale multi-family housing projects and confidence using AutoCAD.

Duties:
- Assist in technical design for multi-family concrete structures (10+ stories)
- Contribute to renovation and conversion projects
- Support preparation of construction documents and coordinate with consultants
- Apply knowledge of International Building Code, Fair Housing, and ADA adaptability
- Collaborate closely with team members to achieve project objectives
- Communicate effectively across disciplines to ensure design intent is met
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (minimum)
- Strong technical skills; AutoCAD proficiency (Revit experience beneficial)
- Background in multi-family concrete structures and renovation/conversion projects
- Knowledge of International Building Code, ADA, and Fair Housing requirements
- Ability to coordinate with consultants and engineers effectively
