We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative - HVAC Residential & Contractor Sales to join our team. This role is responsible for managing HVAC residential and contractor sales, including support products, within a designated territory for one of our established wholesale HVAC distributorships. As a Sales Representative – HVAC Residential & Contractor Sales, you will build and maintain client relationships, acquire new customers, and develop market strategies to drive sales growth.
Salary: $70k - $90k (Draw) Overall Earnings: $150k+
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Represent the company as a leader in the HVAC industry.
- Secure maximum market share and sales revenue while adhering to established sales policies and programs.
- Develop and execute strategies to solicit new accounts and dealers within your assigned territory.
- Maintain direct personal contact with all assigned accounts and build relationships with potential clients.
- Take a proactive approach to sales development and problem solving.
- Resolve customer relations issues and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Serve as a host at dealer meetings, conferences, conventions, incentive trips, and similar events.
- Participate in home product shows, utility-sponsored events, industry associations, and other relevant functions.
- Attend training classes to stay current on product updates and technical developments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required; Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of sales experience within the HVAC industry, with prior experience in the operations of a wholesale HVAC supply house preferred.
- Proven success in sales, marketing, operations, and leadership roles.
- Demonstrated success in residential and commercial contractor relationships.
- Strong track record of establishing and meeting sales goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Clean driving record with no restrictions, suspensions, or DUI convictions in the past 3 years.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
