Mechatronics Technician / Electrical Maintenance Technician / Multi-Skilled Engineer required to join a high-volume manufacturing environment, supporting critical plant machinery and electrical systems across a busy production site. The successful Mechatronics Technician will carry out preventative and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, and installation work across a range of automated machinery and electrical systems. You’ll be part of a skilled engineering team working in a fast-paced, result-driven environment.
You’ll need strong electrical maintenance experience within manufacturing, a solid understanding of PLCs (Siemens S7 and Allen Bradley), and the flexibility to support mechanical and plant-wide activities as needed.

- £49,700 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical and general maintenance on high-volume production machinery
- Perform preventative maintenance checks and ensure accurate data logging and feedback
- Support installation and modification of plant equipment (conduits, cable trays, lighting, etc.)
- Assist with mechanical repairs, welding, fabrication, and general maintenance when required
- Ensure Health & Safety and environmental compliance at all times
- Commutable to Wolverhampton
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 / HNC / City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Proven electrical maintenance experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Siemens S7 and Allen Bradley PLCs (training available)
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings, and work on own initiative
- Basic understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and welding techniques
- Commutable to Wolverhampton
