International Sales Manager / International Account Manager / Business Development Manager required for a manufacturer of optical inspection and metrology systems used in industrial sectors such as precision engineering, electronics, medical, automotive and aerospace. The role will be responsible for the development of key accounts within the Microscopy division. This is a global position covering all countries except the Americas.
You will be responsible for developing relationships with existing and new clients, managing contract negotiations, renewals and pricing discussions. The position will work remotely with global coverage (other than Americas) and will require proven experience selling microscopy products and demonstrable account management experience.
Package:
- Base salary up to £65,000 Dependent on Experience

Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and developing strong relationships with key existing and prospective clients
- Designing and executing strategic plans to penetrate target accounts
- Securing approved supplier status with relevant multinational organisations
- Registering as an approved supplier on appropriate industry and country-specific portals, and actively responding to tenders
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, sales, marketing, design, procurement and customer support
- Identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts
- Preparing and presenting reports on account performance, sales forecasts and market trends to internal stakeholders
- Leading contract negotiations, renewals, and pricing discussions
- Partnering with product development teams to share client feedback and insights

- Strong sales experience within Microscopy
- Extensive Account Management skills with a track record of successfully managing key accounts
- Comprehensive understanding of microscope market trends, buyer processes, and industry dynamics
