Join a leading HVACR wholesale company as a Sales Representative in the Commercial Refrigeration Division (CRD). In this role, you will manage and grow refrigeration contractor sales, focusing on both refrigeration and HVAC products, as well as foodservice equipment. Reporting directly to the VP of Commercial Refrigeration, you will foster client relationships, manage key accounts, and contribute to the growth of the business. Salary: $65k - $85k (Draw) On Target Earnings $150k+
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the company as a leader in the HVACR wholesale industry.
- Manage approximately 60 accounts, including new and existing refrigeration contractors.
- Perform 25 sales calls and 20 customer touches weekly, with diligent documentation of all activities.
- Develop and nurture strong customer relationships to secure maximum market share and sales revenue.
- Offer technical recommendations, product solutions, and inventory management for refrigeration contractors.
- Enter bids and orders into AS400, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Collaborate with divisional, regional, and sales center managers to identify growth opportunities.
- Solicit, develop, and grow new refrigeration accounts through market strategies and targeted outreach.
- Coordinate timely job site deliveries and ensure customer satisfaction with completed orders.
- Assist in creating quotes, proposals, and marketing initiatives for refrigeration jobs.
- Act as the point of contact for assigned accounts, providing consistent follow-up and support.
- Resolve customer issues proactively and provide exceptional customer service.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and vendor-sponsored functions to stay up-to-date on industry trends.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred.
- 5-10 years of outside sales experience within the HVACR industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of refrigeration system operation, troubleshooting, product selection, and load sizing programs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Mincron AS400 is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills, with an ability to problem-solve and address customer concerns proactively.
- Proven track record of achieving sales and marketing goals.
- Ability to work independently and meet goals and deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the designated sales territory and other locations as needed.
- Must be able to operate heavy machinery and comply with all safety regulations.
