The successful Engineering Manager / Service Operations Manager / Engineering Operations Manager will be managing a team of 16+ including service engineers, service coordinators and a service manager.
The Engineering Manager / Service Operations Manager / Engineering Operations Manager will ideally have proven experience managing teams within a similar environment.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing effective and unified leadership for the Service departments and their respective functions.
- Ensure team deadlines are met and communicate any issues to stakeholders including solutions put in place.
- Managing a team of 16+, including 10x Service Engineers, 5x Service Coordinators and 1 Service Manager.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
- Will be reporting directly to the Operations Director.
- 6-month temporary contract and if it is successful the role will go permanent.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Engineer Manager, Service Operations Manager, Engineering Operations Manager, Head of Engineering, Engineering Lead, Engineering Director, Technical Manager, Engineering Supervisor, Technical Director, Branch Manager, General Manager, or similar within Engineering.
- Experience within a similar managerial role in Engineering, preferably within Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- A technical electrical/mechanical engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, degree or would be advantageous.
- Commutable to site near Portsmouth.
