EDM Operator required to join a manufacturer of precision measurement tools and software solutions primarily in the oil and gas industry based in Pasadena, TX.
The successful EDM Operator / CNC EDM / Mill Machinist / CNC Machinist will have a minimum of 5 yearsβ experience with CNC, preferably in a tool & die environment.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily machining workflow to align with production and reporting requirements.
- Program, set up, and operate CNC EDM and milling machines with a focus on precision and efficiency.
- Utilize CAD drawings and digital files to develop accurate and efficient machining programs.
- Maintain and optimize the performance of Mastercam Mill Level 3 and Esprit software.
- Develop CNC programs that follow best practices for speed, accuracy, and tool life.
- Collaborate with the Fabrication Manager to coordinate machining schedules and priorities.
- Conduct in-process and final quality checks to ensure all components meet specifications.
- Support tooling maintenance and upkeep to minimize downtime and ensure process reliability.
- Recommend and implement improvements to machining methods, tooling, and processes for increased efficiency and cost savings.
- Maintain organized digital file systems for all CNC programs and related documentation.
- Monitor equipment performance and carry out basic maintenance to ensure machines operate at peak efficiency.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Previous experience as EDM Operator / CNC EDM / Mill Machinist / CNC Machinist
- Ability to perform advanced machine setups and troubleshoot programming at the machine.
- Hands-on experience with setting up and operating CNC equipment for complex part geometries.
- Minimum of 5 years CNC experience preferably in a tool & die environment
- 2 year machine tool or tool & die certificate would be preferred
- Minimum 2 years programming experience preferably with MasterCam and/or Esprit
- Ability to read blueprints with GD&T
- Commutable to Pasadena, TX
