We are looking for a Construction Manager to lead the way on a high‑profile data centre in Frankfurt, one of Europe’s fastest‑growing hubs for mission‑critical facilities. You’ll be at the centre of a complex, technically demanding build, managing all on‑site activities and driving delivery from the ground up to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of construction activities, from groundworks through to commissioning and handover
- Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across the site
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedules and budgets
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure alignment with project goals
- Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and commercial teams, acting as the key interface between stakeholders and site operations
- Lead progress meetings with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular reporting on milestones and KPIs
- Drive best practice in quality assurance, site logistics, and project controls
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience delivering large‑scale construction projects, ideally within data centres
- Strong knowledge of German building codes, regulations, and permitting processes
- Excellent leadership and contractor management skills with the ability to motivate and direct multi‑disciplinary teams
- Track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Strong problem‑solving, negotiation, and communication skills
- Fluent English required; German language skills highly desirable
