Air Compressor Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Service Technician required to join a specialist engineering company supporting compressed air systems across North Nottinghamshire and South Lincolnshire. The successful Air Compressor Engineer will carry out electrical and mechanical service, repair, and maintenance on compressed air equipment at customer sites, playing a key role in expanding regional service coverage and improving customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Service, maintain, and repair compressed air systems at customer sites

Carry out planned preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs

Perform diagnostic work on mechanical and electrical compressor components

Assist with the occasional installation of compressed air pipework and system upgrades

Communicate effectively with internal teams and customer contacts on-site
Requirements

Proven experience working with air compressors, rotating equipment, or similar capital equipment

Strong mechanical and/or electrical diagnostic skills (3-phase knowledge advantageous)

Background in field service, maintenance, or installation

Technical qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC, HND) preferred but not essential
