CNC Programmer / Process Engineer / CNC Manufacturing Engineer required for a global manufacturer of precision components.

The successful CNC Programmer / Process Engineer / CNC Manufacturing Engineer will work onsite near Dayton, OH and be responsible for optimizing machining processes by creating CNC programs for milling and turning as well as providing training and technical guidance on CNC Programming to both customers and colleagues.

The CNC Programmer / Process Engineer / CNC Manufacturing Engineer will ideally have a technical qualification in mechanical engineering or manufacturing and will be experienced using both G-code and M-code, as well as strong knowledge with CAD/CAM software.

CNC Programmer responsibilities

  • Optimize machining processes by creating CNC programs for milling and turning operations.
  • Provide hands-on training and technical guidance on CNC Programming to both customers and colleagues.
  • Enhance CNC programs using G-code, M-code and CAD/CAM software.
  • Collaborate closely with other engineering teams.
  • Reporting to the Engineering Manager.
  • On-site near Dayton, OH.

CNC Programmer Requirements

  • Apprenticeship, HNC, HND or degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing would be preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of G-code and M-code.
  • Prior experience with CAD/CAM software applications.
  • Must be able to commute or relocate to the Dayton, OH area.
