Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager required to join a global leading mechanical engineering provider.
The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will work fully remote, responsible for new business development and key account management covering areas such as Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire. selling products such as pumps, valves, flow control, filtration, fittings, and other associated mechanical engineering products.
The Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will ideally have experience selling, servicing or managing accounts of a mechanical engineering product such as compressors, pumps, valves, plant equipment, pneumatics, hydraulics, rotating equipment, MRO – bearings, motors, gearboxes, mechanical machinery, power tools, industrial systems, automation products or similar. Full product training provided.

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Role
- Responsible for new business development and key account management covering areas such as Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire selling products such as pumps, valves, flow control, filtration, fittings, and other associated mechanical engineering products.
- Operate in a variety of industrial engineering industries including – automotive, filtration, food & bev, metals, oil & gas, and similar other industrial / mechanical engineering industries
- Maintaining new mechanical engineering sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
- Fully remote covering the East of the UK – Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire.
Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Requirements
- Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, Sales Representative or similar within mechanical engineering.
- Internal Sales Engineers looking to progress into an external role would also be of interest.
- A technical engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
- Experience selling, servicing or managing accounts of a mechanical engineering product such as compressors, pumps, valves, plant equipment, pneumatics, hydraulics, rotating equipment, MRO – bearings, motors, gearboxes, mechanical machinery, power tools, industrial systems, automation products or similar.
- Full clean driving license.
- Willingness to travel across the East of the UK.
